Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December 1991. His parents are Manny James as well as Patty James. His mother was caucasian while his father was Nigerian. His father is Nigerian and his mother is a caucasian American. He was a graduate of Sanderson High School in 2010, then went on to Wake Forest University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 2015. James became famous when his appearance on The Bachelorette as a reality television star. In 2020, he was picked to become the bachelor for season 25 of The Bachelor, becoming the first African American lead. The season premiered in on the 20th of January in. James is the perfect choice for the role, as he is well-rounded tall, athletic and has a good sense of humor. Rachael krkconnell was chosen to be his partner for the season. He joined forces with popular dancing star Arnold in 2021 and competed in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold were 12th in the show.
