Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is an American actress best known for her character Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of the period drama series Mad Men (2007-2015). This series won the actress six Emmy nominations for best supporting actor as well as critical acclaim. Through her professional career with over two decades she has also earned her fame for her performance in the legal drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime-drama the series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. Her performance is noted in films like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River, the Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. She has also been the voice of animated films like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! It began her career as a model and continued to do so for many years prior to making her television debut in 1999 collection Undressed. Her first significant role was on the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers following which she was also recognized for her performance in the popular show Firefly. She was in 2010 voted the sexiest woman on the planet and also the top-groomed woman in America by Esquire magazine.
